Kia ora! This is one of my summer learning journey tasks for today! It is all about Tānerore and summer. For this task I had to create a Koru pattern then I had to make the pattern repeat. For the background I had to change the colours to what I think represents summer and/or Tānerore. I hope you enjoy my pattern! and feel free to comment on my blog!

You are a very talented artist and I particularly like the colour choices you have made here. What inspired you to choose red and green for your design? I agree that the different shades of yellow and gold that you have used in the background make me think of the sun and the sand during the summertime!
