SLJ - Optical Illusion

Kia ora! This is one of my summer learning journey tasks for today! For this task I had to create my own illusion and then explain how it works. This illusion works because the contrast of the different colours. 

So when you look at the illusion for long enough you will sometimes only see white triangles and a black background or only black triangles and a white background. I hope you enjoy this illusion! and feel free to comment on my blog!

Ambassador Application 2019

Fakalofa lahi atu.  Ko heigoa haaku ko Julianna.  Hi my name is Julianna and I am 10 years old. My culture is Niuean and a little bit Fijian. 

I have a wonderful family of 7. I have 3 older brothers, my mum and dad including my precious little dog, Bella. I am the only girl in my family.

I want to be an ambassador because I want to make my family proud and  being an ambassador is one of my dream goals. I also want to represent my culture.

My friends describe me as kind, smart, funny, VERY confident and a dog-lover!  I also have been apart of a lot of things like the production, Netball, Basketball, Robotics, Extension, Kea kids news, PENN news, Manaiakalani film festival presenter and much more.

I think I have what it takes to be a good ambassador. 

I hope you choose me as one of the ambassadors for 2020. It will be a huge opportunity.

Me in disguise

This is my writing task for this week. It is called Me in disguise. You get to use png photos to put on your photo of yourself. Next you get to describe one of your characters. Then we have three pages with different category. On that you have to make a character that matches that category. After you do that you can make lines for each of those three characters.

The most dangerous writing

I wrote this story on a website called The most Dangerous writing.


As I step on the concrete floor a trail of stairs appeared underneath my feet. The stairs looked magical. As I walked forward the tiny lights lit up and brightened the dark sky.


 As I kept on walking forward more stairs will appear. Suddenly I spotted something breathtaking in the night sky. A group of stars formed a arrow pointing forward.


 Once I reached the end of the stairs there was a giant cloud with lots of cute little buildings. I shouted "hello?" out of no where a group of teddy bears, fairy's and kangaroos appeared. It felt like I was living inside my own wonderland. They all were very nice. I stepped on the cloud it felt like a fluffy pillow underneath my feet I found my dream.

If it was a girl then I would probably think the she will have a pink hairstyle in her hair with a jumper and shorts on.
