SLJ Week 3 Day 1


On your blog, tell us what time of year you think is best for tourists for come and visit. Be sure to share at least three things that tourists could do while they were here in NZ.

 I think if people come and visit in summer they could go swimming, go visit all of the beaches and they can also go hiking. Related image


But if you come and visit New Zealand in winter you could go skiing in the South Island of NZ. Go play in the snow or go snow boarding.

SLJ Week 2 Day 1 Activity 2

Activity 2: The Great Taupo Cycle Challenge

If I could take three people with me on the race, these will be the people I would take.

First I would take my Dad because my Dad can help me carry my stuff.

Second is my Mum because I think she will make sure that I won't get lost and keep me safe.

Third I would take my cousin Maddy because she because she is a lot a fun hanging out with.

My favourite part of my summer was when my dad got me and my brother a big swimming pool because it is hot this summer. My dad brought a pool to swim in. Swimming is one of my favourite activities to do in the summer time.

Top 3 Fun Facts about NZ

1. There are 4.4 million New Zealanders living in NZ. There are four main groups of people - 69% European, 14.6% Maori, 9.2% Asian and 6.9% Pacific Islanders.

2. Bungy jumping was invented in New Zealand. Bungy jumping is when you jump off a bridge above water with a bungy rope tied onto your legs.

3. The Kea is the native bird of New Zealand. The Kea is a smart bird.
