Camp

Have you ever been at camp that is held at school? Well I've been to one at my school it's called Pt England school.

If you don’t know what camp is I will tell you. Camp is when you sleep outside and your not allowed any electronics you just have to play with skipping ropes , balls and other things. You also get is groups. First my group Batay went with Mr Somerville. We walked to room 6 7 and 8 then we all got changed into our togs. Next we played a few games. The first game was a cup game. One person had to get cups and make a line on the table. Then we got given balloons. When the game started we started blowing the air out of the balloons to get the cups to fall off the table. The first team to get all of their cups blown off their table won. The group that won was Batay. The next activity was a cookie game. Your team has to pick a girl and a boy to compete. My team chose Kiarah and Osa. You had to put the cookie on you head and try get it in your mouth. When the game begun Osa went first. He tried but he couldn't do it so Kiarah went. She almost did it but she did not get the cookie inside her mouth. When the game was about to end Kiarah and Osa just shoved thier cookie in their mouth. The winners were Exdoes and Torri.

My favourite game was called Killer Zone you had to get through these obstacle courses with your team. You have to compete with another team. It was Batay vs Matariki. At the end Batay won. The other activities were Kayaking, pools, Cycle ball and free time. In free time you can play with Skateboards, Scooters, Ping pong and a Trampoline. For dinner we had Nachos. At night we go to sleep in Our own tents. Each tent has a tag on it that says names. That tells who you are sleeping With.

On the Second day at night we had a camp concert. All of the camp teams sat down in the hall. There were parents there as well. The first item was Batay my group. Our song was Blame it on the boogie. After our group it was Mali mali katoa then Tamati malosi, Tama fiafia, Matariki then Timati lei lei.

I would like to thank all of the parent helpers, leaders and Thank you to the other people that helped Camp work. Huge thank you to Mr Burt, Mr Jacobson and The other teachers.

Camp helps you be confident, a leader and It also teaches you to try new things.
