Thank you tip top for giving us some yummy ice creams, my favourite flavour was the kiwi fruit flavour and I also loved the strawberry mint flavour.

Matariki

In a far away valley there lived 7 sisters. The six older sisters made kites every year to celebrate the harvest. This year the lucky moment came for Matariki. Matariki, the youngest sister, was now old enough to join the 6 older sisters and make her own kite.

The oldest sister made her kite out of harakeke bush her kite was green. The second sister made kite out of raupo bush her kite was orange. The 3rd sister made her kite out of Manuka tree her kite was pink

The fourth sister made her kite out of puriri tree her kite was red. The 5th was blue the 6 was white and the youngest sister’s kite was rainbow.

The sisters all walked up the hill to fly their kites. there were no wind so the seven sisters tied there kites on a tree the they laid down and then started sleeping. Matariki woke up then saw no kites she was so sad that she started crying she woke up the 6 older sisters. Then Matariki stopped crying the oldest sister said to Matariki those are your stars.

Zoo Trip

As I walked into the zoo with Keyana my body filled up with excitement. Once I took a step in the zoo Keyana and I started sprinting to the red panda place then Keyana and I waited suddenly a red panda popped out . Keyana and I was so shocked. Keyana and I went to our adult her name was Manu and we were also with Ema ,Ana,Vienna and Adriana.

We started walking around the zoo then we saw Zebra,emus and giraffes.after that we saw wallaby's,cheetahs and flamingos. I yelled out look a kangaroo but it was a wallaby. I have never seen a flamingo before so I was excited what was I going to see next I went to the glass to see the cheetahs.I looked but they were lying down and sleeping.

After looking at some animals we went to the meating area to have morning tea.when we got there Keanya pulled out my launch box. After I finished eating my morning tea I went to my group and started walking around for animals.

Meanwhile we went to the bug lab Inside bug lab there were heap of games. I had a turn playing every single game. My favourite game was this bee game. You have to rub the yellow square until the score board reaches up to success.

Then my group and I went outside with the whole entire class to sit on the ground and have lunch. I got my lunch box out of keyana's bag and started eating.after my group finished eating our adult Manu found a park so we went there. There were slides and a dragon statue.Manu wanted to take a photo of us on the dragon.

After we took a photo on the dragon we had to quickly get to our class so we don’t lose the bus. Manu said “we have to go to our class now” so my group got off the dragon and started running.when we arrived to the bus we got in and went back to Pt England school with our class.

My puppy Milo

Hi my name is Julianna and I have a great dog and his name is Milo. He is a really cool dog and he has black spots on him. He also has one black spot on his back leg. We went on a trip to get Milo up North a few weeks ago. We had to sleep at a hotel. Then the next day we went in the car and my Dad drove to the house to pick him up.

When we got there my brother Kris and I were so excited. After that we went to the Warehouse to get him some  dog food. We had to drive a long way to get home. When we got home my family had a vote to see what we should call him. My vote was Milo. I was so happy when we decided to name him Milo.

Kris and I played with him inside our house. When he came in our house he tried to jump on our couch but he couldn’t. Then a few minutes later Milo learnt how to jump onto the couch. Kris and I were so proud of him.

Wheels and mufti day

Pt England had a special day because on Friday we had wheels and mufti day.wheels day is awesome because We get to bring any kind of vehicle that has wheels.we get to take our wheels outside when it is lunch.if we wear mufti we have to bring a gold coin to donate it to the year 8s.


I did not bring any wheels on wheels day but I imagined that I bring a cool wheels vehicle. My brother did bring wheels, he bring a scooter. At the back of it had a big wheel and the front had a small wheel. I was wearing a cool rainbow cat t-shirt licking a magic ice cream and it also had a tiara on its head. And my pants had purple lightning.

My friend Keyana gave me a turn to ride on her hover board. When I got a turn it was difficult to control it. When I first went on it I felt worried that I might fall off.

But Mele was holding my arms so I could balance on the hover board. I was happy that Mele came to help me.

Peter rabbit and Benjamin

Peter rabbit and Benjamin found a way to the garden. As Peter and Benjamin slid down the roof Peter shouted to Benjamin “come on”. They balanced on the washing line. Suddenly Ben fell luckily Peter quickly grabbed his ears and pulled him up to safety.

Peter fell after pulling Benjamin back on the washing line Benjamin tried to pull peter back up but he couldn't. They both fell off the washing line they fell into pants they checked through the hole to make sure the coast is clear. Peter and Benjamin slid down the pants and went out. After getting out they felt safe.

Peter and Benjamin thought they were safe but a man that hates rabbits found them Peter screamed “AHH“ and started sprinting through the garden with Benjamin. The man was chasing Benjamin and Peter. Peter yelled “this way"Peter and Benjamin kept on jumping around the garden.

Suddenly the man found them and breathed hello he was very furious. He tried to squash Peter and with a gardening tool but Peter and Ben ran a different direction but the man took a shortcut so he was in front of Peter and Ben. Peter and Ben saw a hole in a door to enter inside the house so they went running as fast as they could. They ducked and slid on the ground through the hole.
