Pikelets

Have you ever made pikelets? Well my class and I made pikelets yesterday. Yesterday morning we the recipe for the pikelets. When we finished getting the whole recipe we started to make the mix.


We put all of the ingredients in the bowl and then started mixing. I got to cut the chocolate packet open. When the texture was ready we went outside to cook it.


Finally I got to have my pikelet with chocolate. I took my first bite but then I made a sour face it was too salty. Aye-Myat must have put too much salt. I was sad because my friends got the mix that had the right amount of salt and their one tasted better.


Then me and my friends made more pikelets. We sat down on the mat and Miss king our teacher came and gave us a second pikelet for helping, We said thank you and I felt happy because I got that second pikelet.

Zoo Trip

As I walked into the zoo with Keyana my body filled up with excitement. Once I took a step in the zoo Keyana and I started sprinting to the red panda place then Keyana and I waited suddenly a red panda popped out . Keyana and I was so shocked. Keyana and I went to our adult her name was Manu and we were also with Ema ,Ana,Vienna and Adriana.

We started walking around the zoo then we saw Zebra,emus and giraffes.after that we saw wallaby's,cheetahs and flamingos. I yelled out look a kangaroo but it was a wallaby. I have never seen a flamingo before so I was excited what was I going to see next I went to the glass to see the cheetahs.I looked but they were lying down and sleeping.

After looking at some animals we went to the meating area to have morning tea.when we got there Keanya pulled out my launch box. After I finished eating my morning tea I went to my group and started walking around for animals.

Meanwhile we went to the bug lab Inside bug lab there were heap of games. I had a turn playing every single game. My favourite game was this bee game. You have to rub the yellow square until the score board reaches up to success.

Then my group and I went outside with the whole entire class to sit on the ground and have lunch. I got my lunch box out of keyana's bag and started eating.after my group finished eating our adult Manu found a park so we went there. There were slides and a dragon statue.Manu wanted to take a photo of us on the dragon.

After we took a photo on the dragon we had to quickly get to our class so we don’t lose the bus. Manu said “we have to go to our class now” so my group got off the dragon and started running.when we arrived to the bus we got in and went back to Pt England school with our class.

My catapult

                               

Have you ever wanted to make a catapult at school? Well I have the solution of how to make one. We learned about energy there are 3 Kinetic energy, Gravitational energy and potential energy.


First you need 6 pieces of popsicles sticks. Then you get 4 sticks and get some tape. You tape the 4 sticks together by just tapping the 2 edges on each side. After you get the 2 sticks and tape them together. Tape the to sticks until it looks like tweezers. Then you are done. Our teachers gave out one pom pom to each person that is in my class.

The war began.

My friends and I had a war.They were Kiarah,Keyana and Angelica. Kiarah was come toward me so I hided behind the couch. I had my pompom ready and aimed for kiarah I said ‘Fire!’ But I missed. Kiarah was getting closer to me, so I ran to another wall to defend myself. Everyone was going crazy.



When I just Ran to room 23 my teacher said “we are going to have a challenge you have to try shoot your pom pom in the square”. People had there turn then it was my turn I was so nervous I went up and got ready In my head I thought that I got this cause when we had free time my pom pom was flying far when I shot every where. My teacher said “3 2 1 Go”! I released my pompom I was so embarrassed cause my pom pom flew down to the starting line. The winners were Aaron and Jemaine.


The 3 energies that we were learning was Kinetic energy, Gravitational energy and potential energy. I felt extremely excited and puffed out. My favorite part was having free time playing with my catapult. It was super fun

My puppy Milo

Hi my name is Julianna and I have a great dog and his name is Milo. He is a really cool dog and he has black spots on him. He also has one black spot on his back leg. We went on a trip to get Milo up North a few weeks ago. We had to sleep at a hotel. Then the next day we went in the car and my Dad drove to the house to pick him up.

When we got there my brother Kris and I were so excited. After that we went to the Warehouse to get him some  dog food. We had to drive a long way to get home. When we got home my family had a vote to see what we should call him. My vote was Milo. I was so happy when we decided to name him Milo.

Kris and I played with him inside our house. When he came in our house he tried to jump on our couch but he couldn’t. Then a few minutes later Milo learnt how to jump onto the couch. Kris and I were so proud of him.
