I got a pink sweater for FREE!

Kia ora! This morning my class and I went to the hall to look for new jackets and t shirts! Nice people gave this opportunity to us. I am really thankful. At the start of the line, Marika ( a student) was holding a pink sweater saying "Pink sweater! it is really nice and it's even new!" I really liked the pink sweater. I was a bit embarrassed tho so I did not take it. While I was looking around I couldn't stop thinking about the sweater. 

I made it to the exit. Before I was about to exit the hall I decided 'NO! I AM NOT LEAVING THIS HALL WITHOUT THAT PINK SWEATER!' so I went back and looked for Marika. I found her but she wasn't holding the pink sweater. My heart and hope went a little bit down until I saw it!  It was sitting on the seat! My happiness exploded inside me. I grabbed it as fast as I could because there was a crowd of people surrounding it. 

I held it tight and I ran for the exit. I managed to exit the hall with a huge smile on my face with my new pink sweater. Again, Thank you to the people who gave us this opportunity because you have put a smile on my face.

Black Shadow attempts to steal the sacred book but then...

On a dark stormy day a mission was about to be completed by the worst villain of all.  Her name is Black Shadow. She is dangerous and evil. Her claws are long and pointy. If you come in contact with her it would take a miracle to get out of her sight in one piece.

Black shadow was on a mission to steal a sacred book from the abandoned church. Some say that people have entered there to restore the sacred book but then they don't come back out. The church has been abandoned for over 200 years. Since then nobody has entered the church. Black Shadow set foot into the church and went in further.

She looked around with her flashlight. Suddenly she stepped on something, she looked down and it was a rusty button. “Ahhhhh!!” The ground beneath her feet opened and then she fell down onto a slide. The slide transferred her to a room.She went flying off the slide and then… SLAP!  Landed right on her bottom. “ Ouch!” she yelled in pain. Her bottom was saw so she rested for a bit.

Once she felt better she stood up and swept the dust of her. She looked around… ROAR!... TO BE CONTINUED

Times tables practice / test!

2020 - Garage sale!

Kia ora! This is a post about... The Garage sale that happened today! and guess what!.. I had my own stall! Let me tell you about the garage sale.

Today at 8 o'clock a garage sale opened at my school (Pt England). I had my own stall and it was mainly a candy store. I was selling toffee apples, lolly bags, muffins ,  2 pairs of shoes and even toys. My stall was next to my friends stall. Her name is Sophie. She came over most of the times to either visit or help me with my business. I didn't mind that.

My first customer was interested in my toffee apples. He decided to buy one so I said it was $2. Then he gave me $2 dollars! I was so excited and happy. I already had my first customer! It was an amazing feeling. I started getting more buyers. I noticed that the toffee apples was a hit because lots were already sold. It even came to a point where I had to cross out the toffee apples on my sign.

I noticed that Sophie was struggling to sell a toy so I decided to help her out. I went over to her and grabbed the teddy bear and started calling out " Teddy bear!, Teddy!". The Bear even had a Chinese hat on it's head. After a while Jacob and his mum came over and looked at my toys. I offered them if they wanted to buy the bear with the Chinese hat. They said yes and gave me the money. Then I gave it to Sophie's mum.

 It was fun helping people sell stuff. I also had two big toys. One was a huge teddy and the other was a big unicorn. They both got sold and they were both bought by my friend Emma's family. I was given some toys to sell from the bric & brac table. I thought maybe because they were struggling to sell them. I actually managed to sell a few of those toys. My toys needed a bit of help getting sold so I started making advertisements for them. Most of them got sold.

Eventually some of my cousins visited. They even bought some of my stuff but mostly just toys because my stall was almost sold out and it only had a few toys left. Anyways after the garage sale me and my mum went home and relaxed. It was a very good day today!

Piano goal!

Kia ora! I want to tell you about one of my special goals. I feel like I have a connection with pianos. I feel like I should learn but it is not easy it is quite hard. So what I am saying is that my goal is to learn how to play the piano. 

There is a song I really want to learn. It is called 'My heart will go on'. I want to learn how to play that song on the piano because it is just so relaxing and beautiful. Once I achieve this goal I want to play it at church, school and other places to show what I have achieved.

Bella our puppy!

My family and I have a very cute puppy called Bella! She is a cross breed Jack Russel and Shih tzu. She has a funny personality. She is sometimes naughty and she is also cheeky. I love her sooooooo much.

Paper popcorn squishy!

Kia ora! This is a popcorn squishy I made out of paper! I watched a tutorial video! I will put the link on the bottom of this post. If you do watch the video then you will see that the lady used a plastic bag to fill the squishy. I used popping plastic because I did not have any bags. Just a dream

On a bright sunny day I went to go on a daring adventure. It was only my brother Kris and I who decided to head out for the day. We went to the beach to start our adventure! The mission was to dig as deep as we could into the sand to search for treasure.

Kris started digging furiously through the sand while I went to get some water using my bright pink bucket. Yes this mission was very serious. I went and ran back to the hole Kris was digging. He faced me and put his arms out waiting for me to give the bucket full of water to him. Suddenly I tripped on something and face planted into the sand. Kris paused for a moment, Then he started cracking up. It was so funny to him he just sat there and laughed.

After a while I finally stood back up and wiped the sand off my face. I looked at Kris and gave him an evil face, that was when he stopped laughing. I went to see what I tripped on. I saw a mysterious looking box. I took it and sat next to Kris and we both examined it. It had designs on it. I tried to open it but it didn’t budge. Kris swiped it off me and said “ Ha, weak” I said “Just open it” He ripped it open and looked inside.

There was a purple gem and a note that said “hold the gem and say this word… "Shazam” So we did. We held the gem together and said “Shazam!” Pow! Boom! “Ahhhhhhhh!” The next thing Kris and I knew was that we teleported somewhere. I was panicking so much “ Oh my gosh where are we?Is this real?, Am I real!?!” Kris was getting annoyed so he yelled “Shut up you give me a headache”

We both started to walk around. After a while we were getting tired so we stopped for a break. Suddenly everything was getting taller. I looked down and realised that it was… QUICK SAND! Kris and I screamed “Aaaaahhhhh!” I didn’t know what to do. It was a NIGHTMARE!. I looked at Kris and his voice started to change. It got deeper and deeper. His eyes turned red and he started to laugh. It was terrifying! My heart sank (get it?, I was sinking in quicksand, my heart was sinking, anyways...) I was almost covered.

Soon I was fully covered but I could still hear Kris laughing. I opened my eyes and looked up, it was Kris he was laughing at me, but why? I stood up and looked around “ I’m still at the beach?” I had sand all over my face so I wiped it off. I went to Kris and asked him “What happened?” He said while laughing “ You tripped and fell on the sand and face planted! Ha ha! Then you were unconscious!” I thought to myself “It was only a dream?” I smiled at Kris and said “Let's go home” he said “ok” I said to him “I had the weirdest dream”... The End

Life as a Giant Pacific octopus!

Kia ora! This is my writing task for today! I had to write about life as a Giant Pacific octopus! I hope you enjoy my writing! and feel free to comment on my blog!

I saw it in the corner of my eye. I swam as fast as I could, before it could escape I Grabbed it with my tentacles and shoved it into my mouth. I said “ Ahhhh... breakfast is served” *CHOMP!* *CHOMP!* “Yum!” I threw the crab shells outside with the others. It was my garden of crab shells.

After eating I went to look for another crab to eat. I looked around, searching for more food “ There! three crabs!” I exclaimed. I zoomed in excitement. I gripped on tight to the crabs and put them in my purse (Mouth). I went back home to eat again.

Once I got home I took the crabs out of my purse ( mouth) and ate them all at once… *Chomp!* *Crunch!* “Yuuum” I said happily with my mouth full of crab. I ended my meal with one huge gulp *GULP!* I took the crab shells and put it in my garden with the other shells.

Next I went to hunt for more food. I had to keep on growing so I could survive. A few hours later I couldn’t find any food and it was getting late so I headed back home. I paused for a moment. I could sense that something was following me. Suddenly a Sleeper shark came out of nowhere. I was scared and I felt threatened.
I quickly squirted a cloud of ink at the shark. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough ink to keep him distracted so I had to think fast. 

As soon as the shark looked up I camouflaged as quickly as I could with the environment. I was right under the shark. I was terrified that the shark would see me. The shark looked up right and left. Then it slowly looked down right at me. My hearts were beating so loud and fast. I was so nervous that the shark would hear them because I had three hearts. Luckily he could not hear them or see me.

The shark swam off to look for more food. I thought to myself “That was way too close I would've gotten killed!, Luckily I camouflage in time” I was so exhausted so I quickly headed back home. And that is the life of a Giant pacific octopus!
