The moon was probably  made 4.5 billion years ago when a large object hit the earth and blasted out rocks that the earth. The moon is much smaller then the earth it is airless water less and  lifeless. the gravity of the earth everyday. The first person to walk on the moon was the American astronaut Neil Armstrong .
